London Corporate Cabs Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions and the web-based booking form constitute the entire Agreement concerning the provision of a taxi hiring for all services between you and London Corporate Cabs

Completion of the booking and use of the Service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.

Booking

Airport Transfers:

You must allow sufficient time when booking your taxi to allow for the check-in times required by your airline and for any delays caused by traffic conditions. London Corporate Cabs shall not be responsible for any delay caused by your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if the passengers are not ready for collection at the booked time.

•You must order a suitable Taxi size for the number of passengers and luggage.

London Corporate Cabs cannot guarantee to carry excessive amounts of luggage. Please note that a child, no matter what age, counts as one passenger.

•London Corporate Cabs will not carry more passengers in our Taxis than our insurance and license allows.

•If you need to transport a wheelchair please specify this at the time of booking.

•A deposit of £25.00 is required when booking Sports Event Travel. The deposit will not be refunded if the hirer cancels the booking less than 24 Hours before the arranged Transport commences.

Filming delays

Upon booking with London Corporate Cabs our Taxi will be at your desired location 10/15 minutes before filming commences to go over any details or final instructions. If you need to delay the time of the booking we must be notified a minimum of 4 hours beforehand. Failure to do so will result in you being charged from the original booked time.

Prices, quotes & payment

Wedding Taxis:

London Corporate Cabs will email you a quotation based on the information supplied by you. Unless otherwise stated all prices are exclusive of VAT which, if applicable, will be charged in addition.

London Corporate Cabs may amend the quotation if there is any material change to the original itinerary, the number of passengers,or the type or size of vehicle required.

•A minimum charge applies to all Wedding Taxi bookings to allow for time the Taxi is off the road and for cleaning and preparation.

•Price quotes for the Black TX Wedding Taxis, White TX Wedding Taxis are valid for up to 14 days. Quotes for the Fairway Wedding Taxi models will only be valid for up to 7 days due to demand and availability. Although a quote is valid for the above times London Corporate Cabs operate on a first come first served basis. London Corporate Cabs have the right to withdraw a quote at any time for availability reasons.

•The Taxi is booked for the time agreed between yourself and London Corporate Cabs. Any additional hours hired that were not agreed upon in the original confirmation will be charged via invoice after your wedding and payable within 14 days.

•If you accept the quotation, you will receive a confirmation of your booking via email. Please check your booking confirmation carefully and inform London Corporate Cabs promptly of any errors or changes to your booking. London Corporate Cabs shall not be responsible for any delays caused or costs arising from or by your failure to provide London Corporate Cabs with correct information.

•Upon booking your Wedding Taxi with London Corporate Cabs a £25.00 deposit is required to secure your booking. This is required on receipt of your confirmation. Failure to pay this deposit could result in the loss of your booking. The deposit is fully refundable up to 14 days prior to your wedding date. Bookings cancelled after this period will be liable to a refund minus the £25.00 deposit.

•The balance of your Wedding Taxi must be paid no later than 14 days prior to your Wedding date.

Airport Transfers:

For airport transfer bookings the quotation will include a 30 minute waiting period after the advertised landing time and the cost of car parking. London Corporate Cabs will charge for waiting time at the standard rates (£5.00 per 15 minutes) after the initial 30 minute period has expired. London Corporate Cabs will endeavour to check for flight delays before the driver leaves for the airport but shall be under no obligation to do so.

•All journeys originating at the airport (which are not return journeys where London Corporate Cabs has taken you to the airport) must be prepaid in full at least three days before the date of travel.

•Journeys will be taken to the address given at the time of the booking, any changes to the destination or extra destinations will be subject to extra charges via a re calculated fix price agreed by both the driver and the hirer or by way of the use of the Taxi Meter and will have to be agreed to by the driver and the hirer.

•Payments made by credit card or debit card in the Taxi via a chip and pin terminal do not carry any additional fees or surcharges (No surcharges).

•Payments made by credit card or debit card over the telephone or email/text link are subject to a 3% administration fee.

•Bank transfer payments must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance of your booking.

•Payments made by invoice are to be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. All payments via invoice will be subject to an administration fee.

•All Filming invoices will be sent once all filming is completed and incur an administration fee.

•London Corporate Cabs are Sole Traders and do not charge VAT.

Travelling:

•You shall be responsible for the behaviour of all the passengers in the car during the journey. You will be charged £60.00 to cover cleaning costs in the unlikely event of the vehicle being soiled by any passenger.

•Consumption of alcohol in not permitted while the vehicle is in motion. Strictly no drugs are permitted in any of our vehicles, anyone seen or believed to participating in such activity will be asked to leave the vehicle immediately with no return or refund. Smoking and the use of vapour devices is not permitted in any of our vehicles.

•All children travelling during the journey should be restrained in a manner appropriate to their age, weight and height. Suitable child seats should wherever possible be supplied and fitted by the child’s parents or guardian. Such seats may be retained by the driver for use on the return journey.

•London Corporate Cabs will not carry more passengers than its insurance or licensing allows.

•London Corporate Cabs comply with all Metropolitan Police guidelines regarding filming on the move. We request that all persons travelling in the vehicle are correctly secured into position using the seatbelts provided and that all camera/sound equipment is secured in place inside the vehicle. Any camera equipment fitted to the exterior of the vehicle should be securely fitted by an experienced camera operator. The Taxi is equipped with 6 passenger seats and one driver seat. We shall under no circumstances allow anymore than 6 passengers to travel inside the Taxi and all passengers must sit in the passenger compartment. No persons other than the driver is allowed to sit in the driver compartment whilst the vehicle is in motion. Instructions for routes or manœuvres should be given to the driver before any journey commences to avoid any distraction to the driver whilst the vehicle is in motion.

Cancellations

Airport Transfers:

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact London Corporate Cabs as soon as possible.If you cancel a booking after the vehicle has been dispatched then a charge may be incurred; the charge will be based on the distance/time that the allocated driver has travelled/spent prior to the point of cancellation. As a general rule journeys from airports are dispatched up to two hours before flight arrival, journeys within central London are normally dispatched up to 60 minutes before their due time. If you have made a booking and have cause to cancel your booking before a vehicle has been dispatched to you, a charge of 5% will be levied on the original payment made.

Filming Hire:

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact London Corporate Cabs as soon as possible. If you cancel a booking after the vehicle has been dispatched then a 1 hour charge will apply. This will be charged via invoice and payable within 14 days.

Wedding Taxis:

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact London Corporate Cabs as soon as possible. The deposit is fully refundable up to 14 days prior to your wedding date. Bookings cancelled after this period will be liable to a refund minus the £25.00 deposit.

Liability:

•London Corporate Cabs shall use all reasonable endeavours to get to your collection point and to your destination on time, but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions beyond its control on the journey. Under no circumstances shall London Corporate Cabs be liable (in contract, tort or otherwise) for any loss of profits, business or for any indirect or consequential loss whatever.

•All luggage is carried entirely at your risk.

London Corporate Cabs shall be entitled to cancel all services and provide refunds if applicable in the event of a declared national emergency, riot, war, fuel shortage, extreme weather or terrorist attack, or other circumstances beyond its control. If the car breaks down during your journey London Corporate Cabs will endeavour to arrange an alternative car to complete the journey as soon as practicable.

•You shall indemnify London Corporate Cabs against all losses, costs, damages and expenses arising from any act or omission of any passenger in your party.

•Neither party excludes or limits its liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for wilful default or fraudulent misrepresentation, or otherwise in any manner unenforceable by any applicable law.

•Advertising companies/agencies wishing to cover or wrap the taxis with any kind of advert or liveries must also provide sufficient proof or insurance in writing that the vehicles will be returned into their original state. Incase of any damages or defects, the hirer will incur all of the repair costs.

Termination

•London Corporate Cabs will refuse or terminate any booking with immediate effect if it places any driver or vehicle at risk of damage, violence or abuse by you or by any passenger in your party and will ask all passengers to vacate the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so. No refunds will be given if the journey is terminated part way through the hire.

Miscellaneous

•London Corporate Cabs may subcontract its obligations under this Agreement. You shall not assign, transfer or delegate any of your rights or obligations under this Agreement.

•London Corporate Cabs may change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to ensure that you are aware of any changes. All existing bookings will be at the rate quoted or applicable rate in effect at the time of booking.

•London Corporate Cabs shall store, process and use all information regarding your personal details in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

•This Agreement and any accompanying quotation represents the entire agreement between you and London Corporate Cabs in relation to its subject matter. If there is any discrepancy between the terms of this Agreement and the quotation, the terms of this Agreement shall prevail.

•Nothing in this Agreement is intended to confer any benefit on any third party, whether pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise, and no third party shall have the right to enforce any rights under this Agreement except where otherwise agreed in writing.

Disputes

•This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with English law and you and London Corporate Cabs each agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in respect of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.

Refunds

•In order to be eligible for a full or part refund, you have to raise a dispute within 7 days of the services provided. If your dispute is upheld and you are eligible for a full or part refund this would be paid to your nominated bank account within 28 days.

Children

•UK law states that taxis are exempt from legislation relating to children travelling in a baby/child seat or booster, more details of the legislation can be found here https://www.gov.uk/seat-belts-law/overview

•For Health and Safety reasons London Corporate Cabs are unable to provide any form of child seat. However, if you are booking a return journey and have your own child seat, the driver who carries out your booking can store your child seat for the return journey, please inform London Corporate Cabs of these details at the time of booking please note that the installation of the child seat must be carried out by parents, guardian or whom is responsible for the child whilst travelling.
