Essential Terms & Conditions
For London Corporate Cabs
Effective January 2026. These terms govern all bookings with London Corporate Cabs.
01. Booking & Performance
While London Corporate Cabs (LCC) strives for absolute punctuality, time is not the "essence of the contract." We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, or adverse weather.
Filming Overruns: Any time used beyond the agreed filming duration will be charged in 30-minute increments at the standard hourly rate.
Wedding Overruns: Any time used beyond the agreed wedding hire duration will be charged at a full hourly rate. There are no pro-rata or partial-hour increments for wedding services.
Fulfillment: LCC reserves the right to use licensed sub-contractors or partner agencies to fulfill a booking if necessary. All partners will adhere to the same quality standards.
Waiting Time: Standard bookings include a 15-minute grace period. Beyond this, waiting time is charged at our standard hourly rate. If the client is not present after 30 minutes without contact, the booking will be logged as a "No Show" and the full fare remains payable.
02. Wedding Terms & Breakdowns
Vehicle Substitution: In the event of mechanical failure of a Heritage vehicle, LCC will provide the closest alternative (typically a Modern Electric TX) and refund the price difference. LCC's liability is limited to this refund; we accept no liability for missed ceremonies or reception delays.
Service Area: Standard wedding rates apply within the Greater London area. Journeys outside this radius must be agreed upon in writing and may incur mileage charges.
The Hire Period: If the wedding party is delayed, the hire period is not automatically extended. Additional standby/overrun time is charged as a full hour at £50/hr (Modern TX) and £70/hr (Heritage).
03. Filming & Production
LCC adheres to the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) guidelines for filming on the move.
Maneuvers & Overruns: The driver holds absolute authority over the vehicle. The driver will refuse any maneuver that violates TfL regulations or MPS guidelines. While we strive for flexibility, overruns are subject to driver availability; if a follow-on commitment exists, the vehicle must be released at the agreed time.
Professional Rigging: All rigging (suction mounts, light bars, etc.) must be fitted by qualified professional grips. LCC reserves the right to veto any rig deemed unsafe. Any damage to paintwork, bodywork, or glass is the sole financial responsibility of the client, including any "Loss of Hire" while the vehicle is being repaired.
Review the 2025/26 MPS Guidelines for Filming on the Move.

Right to Refuse: The driver reserves the right to refuse any instruction that would result in a violation of the Road Traffic Act or TfL licensing conditions. This includes, but is not limited to: illegal parking, stopping on Red Routes, or exceeding passenger limits.
Statutory Fines (PCNs): If a parking fine or penalty charge is incurred as a direct result of a specific request or instruction from the client, the client is solely liable for the cost of the fine plus a £20 administration fee.
Cleaning & Damage: Per TfL regulations, a £60 soiling charge applies for fouling. Physical damage will be invoiced at the full cost of professional repair.
05. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Definition of Dispatch: "Dispatch" occurs when preparation begins (including specialized valeting). For Filming, this is 2 hours prior to the booking. For Airport Transfers, this is 1 hour prior.
| Service Type | Cancellation Window | Policy / Charge |
|---|---|---|
| Wedding | > 14 days | Full refund (Deposit excluded) |
| Wedding | < 14 days | No refund (Full balance due) |
| Filming | Post-Dispatch (>2hrs) | 1-Hour Service Charge |
| Airport | Post-Dispatch (>1hr) | Full fare payable |
06. Liability & Governing Law
Tolls & Charges: Modern TX units are Congestion Charge exempt. Heritage taxis are not exempt; these will be added to the quote.
Financial Limit: LCC’s liability is limited to the total price paid for the booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
07. Force Majeure
London Corporate Cabs shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, act of terrorism, governmental action, or police instructions/road closures.
