London Corporate Cabs – Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions, along with the web-based booking form, constitute the entire agreement between you (the "Customer") and London Corporate Cabs ("LCC") regarding the provision of all taxi and hire services.
Completion of the booking and use of any service offered by London Corporate Cabs indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms outlined below.
1. Booking Terms
Airport Transfers
You must allow sufficient time for airport check-in procedures, possible delays due to traffic, and other unforeseen circumstances. LCC is not liable for missed flights or delays resulting from inadequate time allowance.
Please book a vehicle suitable for your passenger numbers and luggage capacity. Each child, regardless of age, counts as one passenger.
LCC is not responsible for carrying excessive luggage beyond the vehicle’s capacity.
The number of passengers must not exceed the legal limit stated in the vehicle’s license and insurance.
If wheelchair access is required, please notify LCC at the time of booking.
A £25 deposit is required for Sports Event Travel. This deposit is non-refundable if cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup.
Filming Services
LCC taxis will arrive at your designated location 10–15 minutes before filming commences to review final details.
If you wish to reschedule, you must notify LCC at least 4 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in charges from the original booking time.
Only the licensed driver of the vehicle (registered owner/operator) is permitted to drive. Due to insurance and licensing regulations (TfL), no third parties are allowed to operate our vehicles under any circumstances.
2. Pricing, Quotations & Payments
Quotations
All quotes are issued in GBP (£).
Unless stated otherwise, LCC does not currently charge VAT (operating as a Sole Trader).
Quotes are based on the details provided by the Customer and may be revised if:
Itinerary changes,
Passenger count increases,
Vehicle type/size is changed, or
Additional stops or waiting time are required.
Wedding Taxi Services
A written quotation will be supplied on request.
Minimum charges apply to cover vehicle preparation, decoration (if applicable), off-road time, and cleaning.
Quote validity:
TX Black & White Taxis: 14 days
Fairway Models: 7 days (subject to demand)
Deposits: £25 required to secure booking.
Refundable if cancelled 14+ days before the event.
Cancellations within 14 days result in loss of deposit.
Balance payment must be received at least 14 days prior to the wedding.
Additional time beyond the agreed schedule will be charged and invoiced after the event.
Airport Transfers
Quotes include:
30 minutes of waiting time after the scheduled landing
Car parking fees
Additional waiting time is charged at £5.00 per 15 minutes beyond the initial 30-minute grace period.
LCC will attempt to monitor flight delays but is not obligated to do so.
All non-return airport pickups must be prepaid in full at least 3 days prior to travel.
Any changes to the destination, or requests for multiple stops, will be subject to:
A revised fixed fare agreed upon with the driver, or
A charge based on the taximeter (as agreed).
Payment Methods
In-Taxi Payments (Chip & Pin): No surcharges.
Remote Payments (Phone, Email, SMS): Subject to a 3% administration fee.
Bank Transfers: Must be made at least 7 days before the booking.
Invoice Payments: Due within 14 days of invoice date; an admin fee applies.
Filming Hire: Invoiced after filming concludes, subject to an administration fee.
Note: London Corporate Cabs operates as a Sole Trader and does not charge VAT.
Surcharges
Extra charges may apply for:
Travel between 11pm–5am,
Public holidays (e.g., Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve),
Road closures or diversions for major events.
3. Travel Conduct & Safety
The customer is responsible for the conduct of all passengers.
A £60 cleaning fee will apply if the vehicle is soiled by any passenger.
Alcohol consumption is not permitted while the vehicle is in motion.
Strictly no drugs, smoking, or vaping in any LCC vehicle. Offending passengers will be asked to leave without refund.
Child Safety:
All children must be appropriately restrained for their age, weight, and height.
Child seats must be provided and installed by the child’s parent or guardian.
Seats may be stored by the driver for return journeys.
Passengers must use seatbelts at all times.
Filming passengers must ensure equipment is secure. All exterior rigging must be done by experienced crew.
The taxi allows up to 6 passengers; no person may sit in the driver's compartment.
Route instructions for filming should be provided before the journey begins to avoid distractions.
4. Cancellations
Airport Transfers
Cancellations must be made as soon as possible.
If cancelled after dispatch, a charge will apply based on distance/time travelled.
Dispatch typically occurs:
2 hours before scheduled airport arrivals
1 hour before journeys within Central London
If cancelled before dispatch, a 5% fee of the original payment will apply.
Filming Hire
If cancelled after dispatch, a 1-hour charge will apply, invoiced and payable within 14 days.
Wedding Taxis
Cancellations made 14+ days before the event will receive a full deposit refund.
Cancellations within 14 days will result in the loss of the £25 deposit.
5. Liability & Insurance
LCC will use all reasonable efforts to arrive on time but is not liable for delays due to:
Traffic
Weather
Events beyond its control
No liability is accepted for:
Loss of profits or business
Indirect or consequential losses
All luggage is carried at your own risk.
Services may be cancelled in the event of:
Natural disasters
National emergencies
Terrorism
Fuel shortages
Riots or other uncontrollable events
In the event of a vehicle breakdown, LCC will attempt to provide a replacement vehicle as soon as practicable.
You agree to indemnify LCC for any losses, damage, or costs arising from your actions or those of your party.
Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
Advertisers/Agencies must provide written insurance guarantees when wrapping vehicles. Any damage caused must be fully reimbursed.
6. Termination of Service
LCC reserves the right to refuse or terminate any booking with immediate effect if any passenger:
Abuses the driver
Poses a risk to vehicle or passenger safety
No refunds will be given if a journey is terminated due to misconduct.
7. Miscellaneous
LCC may subcontract its obligations under this agreement.
Customers may not transfer or assign their rights under this agreement.
Terms may be updated at any time by posting changes online. Please check regularly for updates.
All existing bookings will be honoured at the rate agreed upon at the time of confirmation.
LCC complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and all customer data will be handled in accordance with UK data laws.
In the event of conflicting terms, this document shall override any previous quotations or communications.
No rights under this agreement are conferred on third parties, as defined by the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, unless explicitly stated.
8. Disputes
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
9. Refunds
To request a refund:
Raise a dispute within 7 days of service delivery.
If upheld, the refund (full or partial) will be issued to your nominated account within 28 days.
10. Child Seat Policy
Under UK law, taxis are exempt from child seat legislation. Full guidance available at:
www.gov.uk/seat-belts-lawLCC does not provide child seats due to health and safety reasons.
For return journeys, drivers can store your child seat, provided:
You notify LCC at the time of booking.
The seat is installed by the parent or guardian.
11. Privacy & Data Protection (Enhanced)
London Corporate Cabs is committed to protecting your privacy and complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your booking and operational requirements (e.g. confirming details, invoicing, follow-ups).
Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law (e.g. law enforcement requests).
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us directly.
12. Force Majeure (Expanded)
London Corporate Cabs shall not be held liable for failure to perform or delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God (e.g. flooding, earthquakes)
War, terrorism or national emergencies
Strikes, industrial action or labour disputes
Technical breakdowns or system failures
Fuel shortages
Public health emergencies (e.g. pandemics)
In such cases, LCC will make reasonable efforts to notify customers and offer alternative arrangements or issue refunds where appropriate.
13. Waiting Time & Additional Charges (Clarified)
Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at standard pickup locations and 30 minutes for airport collections (after flight lands). After this, waiting time is chargeable.
Extra stops or route deviations not specified at time of booking will incur additional charges.
If passengers are not present at the pickup location within the grace period, this may be treated as a "no-show", and charges may still apply.
14. Vehicle Condition & Damage
All LCC vehicles are maintained to high standards. Customers must report any concerns regarding the vehicle at the time of hire.
Any damage to the vehicle interior or exterior caused by passengers (e.g. stains, breakages, deliberate damage) will be fully chargeable to the booking customer.
Vehicles are cleaned and sanitised regularly. If a customer requires enhanced sanitation (e.g. due to medical reasons), this must be requested at time of booking.
15. Photography & Media Use
For marketing purposes, LCC may request permission to photograph the vehicle at your event (e.g. weddings). These images may be used on our website or social media platforms.
Customers may opt out at any time by emailing us or stating their preference during the booking process.
16. Lost Property
Passengers are responsible for their belongings. LCC accepts no liability for lost or forgotten items.
If any item is found in one of our vehicles, London Corporate Cabs will make all reasonable efforts to facilitate its return. This may include returning the item during a subsequent booking, arranging return at the customer’s expense (e.g. postage or courier fees), or, where appropriate, handing it over to the Transport for London (TfL) Lost Property Office.
17. Customer Support & Complaints Procedure

Complaints should be submitted within 7 days of the service.
We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 10 working days.
18. No-Show Policy
A "no-show" is defined as a failure to appear at the agreed pickup location without prior notice.
In such cases, the full fare may still be charged.
For pre-paid bookings, no refund will be issued for no-shows unless the failure to appear was due to extraordinary circumstances (at LCC's discretion).
19. Insurance Disclosure
All LCC vehicles are fully insured for hire and reward use under UK law.
Insurance includes:
Public liability
Passenger liability
Vehicle damage (excluding passenger negligence)
However, personal items or valuables are not insured, and customers are advised to make their own insurance arrangements for such belongings.
20. Right to Refuse Service
LCC reserves the absolute right to refuse or terminate any booking without liability where, in the reasonable opinion of the driver or management:
The pickup or drop-off location is deemed unsafe, inaccessible, or unlawful;
The Customer or passenger requests that the driver commit an unlawful act or transport prohibited items;
The Customer has failed to meet payment terms or provide accurate booking details;
The passenger is unfit to travel, abusive, or poses a safety risk.
No refund will be given where service refusal or termination is due to the Customer’s breach of these Terms.
21. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, LCC does not carry:
Hazardous materials, corrosives, explosives, or flammable substances;
Firearms, weapons, or ammunition;
Illegal drugs or substances;
Any breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of service, police involvement, and charges to the Customer for associated costs.
22. Equality & Accessibility
LCC operates in compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and Transport for London licensing requirements.
Passengers with disabilities shall not be refused carriage.
Assistance dogs must be carried free of charge, unless a valid medical exemption is displayed in the vehicle.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available on request and should be booked in advance to ensure availability.
23. Customer Identity Verification
For security and fraud-prevention purposes, LCC reserves the right to request valid identification for:
High-value bookings (e.g., weddings, corporate accounts, filming services);
Travel involving unaccompanied minors;
Any booking where LCC reasonably suspects fraudulent activity.
Failure to provide identification on request may result in cancellation with applicable charges.
24. Health & Safety Obligations
Passengers must comply with all driver instructions regarding health and safety.
Seatbelts must be worn at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
Customers must ensure that children are correctly restrained in accordance with UK law.
Passengers must not distract the driver or obstruct their vision or controls.
Filming or photography must not interfere with safe operation of the vehicle.
25. CCTV & Surveillance
For safety and security, some LCC vehicles may be fitted with CCTV or dash cameras.
Recordings may be used for crime prevention, insurance claims, driver training, or dispute resolution.
Footage will be stored and handled in accordance with data protection law (UK GDPR).
26. Jurisdiction of Services
These Terms shall apply to all services provided by LCC, whether performed inside or outside Greater London. English Law shall apply to all bookings, regardless of the pickup or drop-off location.
Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with London Corporate Cabs, you acknowledge that:
You have read, understood, and accepted all Terms and Conditions.
You are legally authorised to make bookings on behalf of yourself or the group represented.
You agree to be bound by the responsibilities, charges, and cancellation policies detailed above.
