The Objective
The goal was to create a series of "Mobile Sanctuaries" that served as a centerpiece for the Rhode UK launch event. Instead of traditional transport, these vehicles were utilized as static experiential hubs designed to stop traffic and provide a high-end backdrop for brand storytelling. Positioned at key London locations, the activation aimed to bridge the gap between digital hype and physical experience, offering a tangible touchpoint for the 'glazed' Rhode aesthetic in a premium urban setting.
The Execution
Our LEVC TX electric cabs were meticulously wrapped in 'Rhode Grey' and transformed into static showrooms. The interior was the focal point of the event; engineered bespoke partitions featuring backlit 'Rhode x Sephora' logos and integrated acrylic product pedestals. These stationary "discovery stations" allowed guests and passersby to interact with the Peptide Lip Treatments and Glazing Fluids in a beautifully lit, curated environment that perfectly mirrored the brand's minimalist luxury.

How much does black cab advertising cost in London?
Our promotional taxi hire packages start from £1,200 per day. Total campaign costs vary based on duration (3-day and 5-day packages available) and the type of branding selected. Please note that high-quality vehicle wraps are priced separately, typically starting around £2,300 for full coverage via our partners at Raccoon London Ltd.
What are the design and content restrictions?
To ensure TfL compliance and road safety, all campaign creative must adhere to the Official TfL Advertising Guidelines. Key restrictions include:
- Content: No nude images, offensive language, or content that targets passengers as the subject of a joke.
- Prohibited Items: Ads for tobacco are banned; alcohol ads are tightly restricted and subject to individual approval.
- Technical Specs: External QR codes and reflective/foil materials are not permitted. The same creative must be displayed on both sides of the taxi.
- Visibility: Aftermarket window tints must allow for at least 75% light transmission to remain legal.
Are your advertising taxis electric and eco-friendly?
