A standard London black cab can accommodate a maximum of 6 passengers in the rear compartment (3 forward-facing, 3 rear-facing). For safety and insurance compliance, no more than 6 passengers are permitted, and all must remain within the passenger compartment while the vehicle is in motion.
No. London taxis are TFL-licensed vehicles and do not have a front passenger seat; that area is a dedicated luggage compartment. It is strictly against TFL regulations and UK law for any person (cast, crew, or camera operators) to sit in the front compartment while the vehicle is moving.
Yes. We allow exterior camera mounts (rigs, suction mounts, or speed rail) provided they are fitted by an experienced grip or camera operator. London Corporate Cabs complies with all Metropolitan Police guidelines for filming on the move to ensure the safety of the crew and the public.
No. For insurance and TfL licensing compliance, only our registered, fully licensed owner-drivers are permitted to operate the vehicle. Our "Hire and Reward" insurance policies require a professional licensed driver to be at the wheel at all times to maintain legal coverage on set.
Yes. All our drivers are highly experienced with the demands of a film set and are happy to appear on camera as an "Action Driver" or background extra if required by the production team.
